Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Bud Collins Trio" is a strange band, because it's neither a trio, nor is Bud Collins a member of it... Well, I found it on Bandcamp while exploring the works of Tony Castellano, who wrote a couple of songs with them in the years 1987-1989 - "them" at this time reportedly being Christopher Weinland (drums) and Pat Guiney (guitar). The lineup obviously has changed quite a bit since then, but the quality of the music has remained on an ever high level. Of the tags supplied with this track, I think "chamber pop" is most appropriate, but in my opinion, "art rock" fits even better. Whatever category it really belongs to, it's once again an example of top-notch songwriting.
